The Enthusiast's Magazine of Ferrari
Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Cavallino is the only publication that prints the serial number for every Ferrari mentioned in our stories, articles, and race results.

Gigi shared with his older brother, Emilio, or "Mimi", an innate passion for auto racing, and as a result it was no surprise when in 1933 the two brothers started racing as an endurance team at the wheel of a Fiat Balilla. |

Long time Ferrari friend and four cam owner Patrick Ottis organized a weekend of touring for other owners like himself who enjoy driving these special cars. They left from the San Fransisco area and headed up the coast road all the way to the redwoods at the "Avenue of the Giants." |

44 | Corse | Carrera Panamericana Special is presented Ferrari 340/375 MM, s/n 0286 AM Stephen Schwartz After a several year restoration, Bruce McCaw brought his unique 340/375 to Monterey to share with everyone the re-introduction of this classic. Long burried in the ground (!), this rare racers was finally unearthed two years ago by Bill Noon, and all the pieces were bought by Mr. McCaw. Pete Lovely's shop in Washington was charged with bringing the car back to its condition as raced in the 1954 Carrara Panamericana, with that unique rear fin. |

The first car, s/n 104466 driven by Tetsuya Ota and Anders Olofsson while the latter we believe to be s/n 100691. |
45 | Corse | WSC Ferraris storm Canada Spyro Cacoutis In one of their strongest displays of power yet, four Ferrari F33 SPs came to Mosport and did very well, wining the pole and the race. The eventual winners were Morgan and Fellows in s/n 004, taking the victory after the car of Dibos and Velez, s/n 003, ran out of gas while leading, Moretti and Theys in s/n 016 were fourth after a good run, but the s/n 010 of Hermann and Montermini broke its suspension late in the race after fighting for the lead. Part of the problem, of course, it that the F40s are getting old: they are still reliable, but their technology is not up to date. Everyone longs for an F50 GT but Ferrari still says no. Starting in Europe, it quickly spread to North America, then to Japan, and eventually southeast Asia. This year a series began in Venezuela under the auspices of the Ferrari importer: it is titled the "Copa Ferrari Challenge."
